Bob Hollis
Bob Hollis, who is a pioneer of the sport of scubadiving, is a local legend as well as a member of International Scuba Diving Hall of Fame. He began scuba diving in the late 1950s and developed an interest in underwater photography. This hobby required special equipment. Hollis' engineering degree allowed him to design his own housings for underwater camera. Hollis, a Hayward, California-based underwater camera retailer, opened Anchor Shack in 1965. He began to receive mail orders for his housings.

One of the most well-known and iconic names in scuba diving is Hollis Scuba Oceanic. Since 1972, Bob Hollis founded the company. It is synonymous with high-quality diving equipment. The company produces rebreathers, diving computers, and novel diving masks featuring heads-up displays. They have also been involved in the development of military diving equipment, including the MK-25, which is used by US Navy frogmen and other naval work divers.

The air flow control system of the recalled dive computers is defective and could result in the diver losing control over their breathing underwater. The dive computers were sold for $1200 between November 2010 & July 2012. The factory can repair or replace the damaged units by returning them to the dealer.
