Diver Certificate Levels

certified dive

A introductory course for those who are interested in diving is a great option. Also known as a buceo (or baptism in water), this course can be a great option for beginners or those who don't have much time. To begin diving at 12 metres or more, you'll need to be accompanied by a professional instructor. You can take additional classes to upgrade to Advanced open water or Rescue certification.

PADI Scuba Diver

There are many PADI Scuba Diver Course Levels. For those who are just beginning, the introductory course is a good starting point. Once they have achieved certain levels of competence, they can move on to a higher level. The PADI Scuba Diver course consists of 14 modules, which are broken into three sections. Although the course is usually three days long, you can upgrade it in as little as one and a half days. This is the most popular course in the world and will allow you to dive to 18 meters.

Advanced open water diver

Open water divers who have successfully completed an Open Water Diver Course are considered advanced open water divers. AOW divers can dive to depths greater than 60 feet. They can also improve their buoyancy and air consumption. Advanced open water divers may also be able to perform specialty dives, such as wreck diving. There are several levels of AOW certificates. These levels have different requirements. For more information about these levels, please read on!

Rescue diver

There are three levels of Rescue Diver certification: technical, recreational and leader. International Standards Organisation (ISO) sets the standards for these levels. These training levels are based respectively on BS EN14413-2:2004 & ISO 24801-1. Instructors at level one are qualified to teach recreational divers, assess their knowledge and plan and lead dives. They can also lead divers in open waters and assist with rescue operations.

Cave-1 class

For a cave diver certification program, you will need to have at least 40 hours of instruction and experience. The course content covers cave diving skills and procedures, emergency procedures, and information about the hazards and challenges in the environment. Students are tested during the cave course. It has two parts: academics, and water-based exercises. The students must pass a quiz, take an exam, and prove their skill and proficiency. The course requires the student to complete a cave dive course manual.

Master Scuba Diver

There are five levels of the Master Scuba Diver diving certification. The first level is the Open Water dive, which is where you learn how to dive, and manage yourself and your scuba gear. You can also choose electives at the next two levels. Master Scuba Divers have the option to dive alongside other divers, provided they are also certified. You also get a 10% discount on all five courses if you reach this level.
