Offering courses
Divers who wish to become certified in SDI diving can take a variety of courses. The Open Water Diver Course introduces divers to the five specialties and allows for exploration of the waters up to 40 meters. You can choose to do one or multiple dives. A limited-penetration course is also available, which requires only three dives. But whether you choose the latter, your course will be worth it.
Prerequisites for sdi diving courses
Prerequisites for SDI diving courses are dependent on the level of certification desired. For example, a certified diver must have completed the Open Water Scuba Diver course. A certified diver can add this advanced training to their skill set by becoming a SDI Assistant Instructor. They can also be certified instructors. SDI instructors have the ability to supervise certified divers.
Scuba diving courses cost
There are two types main SDI diving courses. Advanced divers typically complete four courses and log 25 diving hours. Students may choose to take Night Diver, Drysuit Diver or Deep Diver depending upon the course. Students can usually complete all four specialties within the same course. This can save students money because they can opt for one or the other depending on their preference and budget.
