TDI Extended range is a special course for divers with limited access to Trimix. It emphasizes skills development, solid procedures, and diver responses to situations. Students will be able to safely dive in Extended Range environments and use up to two decompression chemicals. TDI Extended Range training dives can be conducted with nitrox, air or both.
TDI Trimix
TDI Trimix certification opens up new dive spots. This certification can also allow divers to travel up to 60 m/200 ft. Extended Range certifications are also available as eLearning. TDI eLearning lets you complete the course online if it is difficult to find a dive school in your area. This course will help you understand the advantages of extended range diving.
The Extended Range course will allow you to dive in more challenging locations and decrease your nitrogen narcosis. Stage decompression diving is a process that involves using two stages of enriched air, oxygen or enriched water. The Extended Range course can be combined with TDI Trimix Diver Certificate.
TDI Trimix training prepares you for advanced diving. It allows you to dive to 60m in normal conditions. TDI Trimix training focuses primarily upon safety and skill building, as it is necessary to quickly address problems at depths of up to 60 meters. Divers should be familiar with all procedures to avoid complications.
