
White Point dive site is one of the best in LA. It has white bacteria mats on its bottom and is very close to the hot springs. You will also find an old shipwreck and rock reef at the dive site. You will also see giant sea stars and urchins. High tide is the best day to dive.
Leo Carillo
Leo Carrillo (La) is a California State Park located on the southern coast, Los Angeles County. It is part Santa Monica Mountains National Recreation Area. It has 1.5 miles on the beach, which extends into Santa Monica Mountains. The pristine waters off Leo Carrillo State Park are a great place for scuba divers.
Divers can choose from three main dive sites at Leo Carrillo. These dive sites are great options for beginners. They have easy entry points, ample parking, and offer great diving opportunities. You can also go night diving or lobster hunting at these sites, and you will find lots of marine life.

Santa Barbara Island
Santa Barbara Island is home of some amazing offshore dive sites. These dive sites can be reached by visiting boats. These sites are usually rocky and are good hunting and photography grounds. These areas are also home to many healthy kelp bed and purple hydro Coral. Moreover, the visibility here is excellent for Southern California waters.
The island offers kayaking and snorkeling for visitors. Tent camping is possible if it's allowed by the weather. There is a large population pinnipeds on the island, which includes harbor seals. You can find these animals at the rock areas surrounding the sea-lion rookery. These overlooks are scattered around the island.
Anacapa Island
Anacapa Island has a diverse marine life. The area is also home to one the United States's first Marine Protected Areas. The area offers diving opportunities that are both excellent for experienced and beginners. The water around the island is relatively warm, making it ideal for wetsuit diving. Surface temperatures can easily reach 70deg F (21deg C) in the late summer and fall. In winter, temperatures may drop as low to 50 degrees F (10oC). It is recommended to wear a 7mm suit. These months are when visibility is generally at least 100 feet (30M).
Dive charter boats, as well the Island Packers, can take you to Anacapa. There are many dive locations on the island. One of them is a 40-foot-tall archrock. These sites are also accessible from the sea surface with snorkeling gear.

Veteran's Park
Veteran's Park, a Green Space located on Ocean Drive, has a playground as well as fields. This is a great place to bring your family together. It is close to beaches. The park has a wonderful view of ocean from its top on sunny days. It's open all year round and has lots to offer.
It is easy to reach the parking area. Veteran's Park is the best spot to start your diving journey if you're a novice diver. It's easy to reach with parking and restrooms. A meter is available for checking, and you can also use the outdoor shower to rinse your clothes. You can also use the park's changing area. The restrooms close at night.
